Are you asking a friend or family member to officiate for you?

It can be quite meaningful to have a loved one perform your ceremony, and I fully appreciate the choice. My best friend officiated my wedding, and I wouldn’t change that for the world.

But you might be thinking… will our loved one be able to write a top-notch ceremony? Do they even know where to begin? Will they handle it professionally? How might we support them?

That’s where I come in.

Using all the same tools I’ve created for my own officiating, I will work with you to design a personalized ceremony. I will meet with you to make sure your ceremony is everything you want it to be, and reflects who you are as a couple. I will also meet with your loved one to guide them to flawlessly step into the role.

I can help you in this way no matter where you are located!

I consulted with Sarah before officiating my first wedding. She was easy to talk to and set my mind at rest that we could create a meaningful ceremony for my friends. She had such insightful and helpful ideas for ceremony that supported the vision of the couple. After talking with Sarah, instead of feeling anxious for the big day, I felt confident and eager. People were shocked this was my first time officiating! And I owe Sarah for much of my success and enjoyment of the process. I highly recommended her!

Thank you for all the resources. They helped me guide the couples’ written vows, and I think they also helped the best man and maid of honor create better speeches after the conversations we had. Thank you for sharing your craft with me, it was an enormous help.
